Diving Courses

We run PADI courses on the Isle of Wight for every level, from your very first breaths underwater to advanced and speciality training. Most courses start in the heated pool at UKSA in Cowes, then move to open water around the Island and nearby. Not sure where to start? Tell us what you would like to do, and we will help you find the right course.

Beginner courses

Try scuba for the first time in the pool, or start your PADI Open Water certification, the world's most popular scuba qualification. See our beginner courses.

Advanced courses

Build on your Open Water certification with PADI Advanced Open Water, or take your skills further with Rescue Diver. See our advanced courses.

Speciality courses

Over 30 PADI specialities, from Underwater Navigation and Enriched Air to Wreck, Deep and Night diving, plus ReActivate refresher sessions to get you back in the water. See our speciality courses.

Dates and booking

Open Water courses are arranged around divers who are ready to go, midweek (usually quieter) or at weekends. Pool sessions are at UKSA in Cowes, and open-water dives take place at Andark Lake near Southampton or at Bembridge or Freshwater Bay on the Island, depending on tides and weather. Get in touch for the next available dates.

Freediving

We teach scuba diving. If you would like to try freediving, exploring on a single breath, we recommend Esprit Freedivers, who run PADI Freediver training and taster days around the Island. Visit the Esprit Freedivers website.
