Speciality Courses

Once you are certified, PADI speciality courses let you grow as a diver and explore new environments. We offer over 30 specialities, so whether you want to sharpen a skill or try something new, there is something to suit you.

Skill-focused options include Underwater Navigation, Search and Recovery, and Delayed SMB. If you would rather explore new environments, there is Wreck, Deep and Night diving, among others. Courses range from one-day, non-diving options such as Emergency Oxygen Provider and Enriched Air (Nitrox), through to multi-dive courses such as Wreck and Deep, which include four dives over two days.

Not sure where to start? Tell us what interests you and we will help you find the right course. You can also browse the full range of PADI speciality courses, or get in touch.

PADI ReActivate refresher

Back in the water, back in the game. If you are a certified diver who has been out of the water for a while, our ReActivate sessions rebuild your confidence, update your skills and get you ready to dive again, without repeating a full course.

Sessions run on the fourth Sunday of each month, 11:00 to 13:00, at the UKSA pool in Cowes.

You start by reviewing your own scuba theory and noting any questions. Your Wight Dive School instructor then helps with those and guides you through a friendly, supportive pool session, revisiting core Open Water skills and focusing on whatever you want to work on. Whether it has been six months or six years, we will make sure you are comfortable, confident and ready for your next adventure. If you would like it, we can also arrange a supervised open-water dive to ease you back in.
